Before Christmas me and my sister was planning a weekend together in London, to do some shopping, to get some Korean, Japanese food and Dim-Sum, and to spend some time together. We decided to do that on the weekend just gone. We planned to go to Westfield in Stratford and Oxford Street on Saturday and to go to Chinatown on Sunday, both of us was very excited.
It was suppose to be a great weekend, but on the Saturday mid-day my purse and my iPhone 6 got stolen. How and When? I do not know, I was queuing up at Uniqlo, to pay for some trousers when I realised my bag pack was open, I searched my bag and noticed my purse was gone, at that moment I was really scared and my heart was racing so fast.
I thought I just accidentally dropped it in the changing rooms, so I went back to check if it was there and nothing. So I then went back to the shop I was in before, which was H&M, I traced back my footsteps to see if I could find it or not and again nothing. So I went to Apple, to track my phone down and when I logged on, my phone was offline so it was obvious that someone had went into my bag pack and stole my purse and my phone which was in the purse. After I went to Westfield Concierge services to report the situation. They took my details and said they will investigate, they told me to go to lost & found, to see if anyone had turned in a purse or a phone, I went there and there was no result. Afterwards I went to the bank to cancel my cards and walked around the shopping centre upset and angry.
After walking around, we decided to go home and report it to the police, since my sister didn't have her phone, we couldn't report it at the time. The police were really helpful, but it was a low chance of them finding my stuff. I kept checking back on find my phone, but it's still offline, thankfully I got insurance on my iPhone, so I just posted my claim form and now waiting for them to get back to me.
Even though it was one of the worst weekend, it was an experience that I will learn from..
